Cake Design and Consultation
Our bespoke cakes are individually made to order. You can browse our gallery, or we can design something unique for you. We offer a no-obligation consultation service for all cakes. Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced elsewhere can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation and will not be a replica. Please be aware that copyright also protects some designs, which therefore cannot be copied.
ORDER CHANGES
Please ensure all details are correct when placing your order (including product and checkout options), as change requests may incur a $10 ADMIN FEE.
WHY?
The price of our product is based on us receiving your order and working diligently to create and decorate your order to the highest standard without requiring additional administration. We get a very high number of orders daily and put all our attention into the fulfilment of those orders. If changes need to be made to your order, it will require multiple steps and changes to production from our end.
BOOKING TIMEFRAME
We need at least a minimum of 72 hours for any orders placed. Once you have placed an order, a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you have not received a confirmation, please contact us to ensure that your order has been received. Sometimes we can accommodate a cake at shorter notice depending on our schedule and the design of your cake. We are happy to discuss this.
DEPOSIT
All bookings require a 50% deposit, which will ensure your order is confirmed with us.
If we do not receive your deposit, you risk losing your booking.
FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT
- Cakes need to be paid in full by direct debit/credit/bank transfer, or cash prior to or on collection.
- If your cake is being delivered, payment will need to be received in full prior to the delivery being made.
- WE WILL NOT RELEASE your cake until payment has been received in full. We accept no responsibility for any loss caused under these circumstances.
STANDARD CAKES CANCELLATION
A minimum of 72 hours is required for cancellation.
As we do not give refunds, you will be emailed a credit voucher, at our discretion, for the full value of the original order
For cancellations less than 72 hours prior to your pick-up or delivery date:
No refunds or credits will be issued.
Reason being:
- The administration that has already occurred in processing your order.
- Our production calendar fills up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. If you cancel your order, this has taken up a booking which could’ve been filled by another customer.
- We will have already committed resources to your order, including ingredients and labour preparation.
- Your product is being "made to order," which means we are unable to sell these products elsewhere.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your order, any deposits paid will be FULLY REFUNDED.
Reasons may be due to death, injury, illness, severe medical condition, accident or a force majeure.
ORDER COLLECTION & DELIVERY
Once your order has been collected from us, customers must accept all responsibility for its transportation. We will not give compensation if there is damage during or after transit. We will always advise customers on the best way to transport products, but ultimately it is the customer’s responsibility to exercise extreme care when moving, transporting, storing, and serving.
Where we are able to, we will deliver your order to ensure it reaches you in the best manner possible. If there is an issue in regards to delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can rectify the issue for you. In the event that we are not able to, for items on our website only we will organise an Uber for delivery. Charges are quoted at the time of booking.
If the recipient is not home and no contact can be made, and if there is no safe or dry location to leave your order, we will bring the product(s) back to our cafe. We will do our best to follow up with you as to the next step for collection or re-delivery. Please note that there will be an additional charge to re-deliver. If we are unable to reach you or the recipient before the expiration of the product, no compensation will be provided.
If you provide permission for us to leave your order when no one is at home, we can leave the order in the safest place possible.
If we do so, we will not be liable for any damage that may occur after the fact.
